UGH

Okay listen you guys, please don't hate me for not posting anything for...EVER, I am serious, I feel like a jerk. I need to get my act together, I wanted this blog, now I have it, and look at me not posting for you few wonderful people who are kind enough to follow me. SO here, I say I will make an absolute effort to at least post once a week. If I don't I am either sick, dieing, or have some supper important business. SO, to give you an I am so very, very, very sorry gift I now present you with a snippet from one of my lovely books that I recently said would be appearing in my blog more =)



I got in the lunch line and Emily practically knocked me down when she got in line behind me. “Oh. My. Gosh. He was in your Algebra class wasn’t he?”
“Yes,” I sighed “I figured you would find out by lunch and I couldn’t tell you before science.”
She continued “ Well of course I figured it out the whole school is going on about the new kid, and all the girls are going on about the new hot blond guy,  seeing as I figured there weren’t two new students I put two and two together and got your hot guy.”
“Emily, he isn’t my hot guy.”
She sighed “I thought you gave up, but it doesn’t matter, give me details.”
“Emily, there aren’t any details. He walked in he ended up sitting next to me,”
“Fate.” She interrupted.
I sighed “And then class happened, nothing special, no details.”
“No details, no details! He got the seat next to you! That is a major detail Mira!”
I glanced around and saw all the people looking at us. “Emily,” I hissed “Stop yelling.”
She put her hand over her mouth as she noticed everyone’s gaze as well “Sorry Mira.”
I sighed, “It’s okay, but we’re at school Emily, try to be quieter.”
“Got it.” She laughed.
We continued down the lunch line and each got our scoops of mystery meat, macaroni and cheese, fruit, and mixed veggies. We grabbed our milk at the end. “Well this looks appetizing.” Emily chuckled.
“Oh yes very.” I looked down at the food, which happened to be a terrible mistake seeing as I ran straight into someone spilling food all over myself. “I am so sorry.” The whole cafeteria fell silent. Was it that bad?  Suddenly I heard laughter, but it wasn’t the whole cafeteria like I had expected, it was the person I had doused in mystery meat. “There is Mac and Cheese all over your head.” I looked up to find Isaac covered in Mystery Meat and laughing his head off. I sat there dumbfounded for a minute before smiling up at him.
“You’re one to talk you have meat all over you.” After a few seconds the whole cafeteria burst into laughter as well.
We both ran into the separate bathrooms I into the ladies he into the men’s. I looked at myself in the mirror and proceeded to pick Mac and Cheese out of my hair.
Emily came bursting in after I had only managed to successfully remove one piece
"OH MY GOSH." She yelled "he laughed you smiled it was beautiful. YOU ARE MEANT TO BE!"

Okay, so that may have been a bit more than a snippet but from that book, it is one of my most favorite parts XD

HAPPINESS

HELLO WONDERFUL PEOPLE WHO FOLLOW THIS BLOG! This, is to be a very short post because it is just to tell you how wonderfully happy I am, because I just had...you'll never guess. Go on try...No? It's a food. Still no? It's a candy...YOU GOT IS SKITTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and My Writing

I think I shall start posting more of my writing on this blog. I have seen it and it sounds fun sooooooooooooo, be happy I shall attack you with my characters and plot schemes. =) To start I think I shall tell you the WIP's I have (For those who don't know a WIP is a Work In Progress) Because I am no professional but I hope it becomes that way. =) (I am just telling names for descriptions go to the page title My Books) SO, first I think I shall put The Playwright, then Road to Nowhere, and Keeper of Ice(This title might change), Ace of Spades, Amber, and I shall add any if there are more but I think that is it for now...SO, this is what I have decided and I shall do my best to follow it through =).

SORRY!

This is an apology post! Because I have been a bad cookie and not posted in like...five months. Again, most sincerest apologies. BUT, do not be dismayed for I am back MWAHAHAHA!=) Okay so remember the previous post about movies and books...I HAVE FOUND THE EXAMPLE! It is called the "Princess Bride" It is a wonderful movie, and an even more wonderful book. The movie sticks with it soooo well. It does leave out a few things and switches some stuff to get in some lines that would be said in a previous part. But any movie has to do that. SO, be happy for I am back and there is an epic movie and book out there. SO go...go and read it!                                          

Books to Movies

Hello, sorry about the lack of posts, I have had nearly no inspiration for anything lately. But, today I had a nice little brainstorm =). So...you know when you read a book and it is really cool, might even be your new favorite and you're just like obsessed over this book, and then you here they are turning it into a movie?You dive into research. Like who is playing this character, are they at least adequate in appearance. So the movie finally comes out you see it as soon as possible and then...how did it go? Was the movie awesome, mediocre, or was it just butchered? I know when I read the Percy Jackson Series and they made a movie I was slightly upset. I mean one of the main characters didn't even have the right hair color, and the characters where like twelve in the book and I think one of the actors was like 20. Now I am not picking on the people who made it, just expressing my feelings. It wasn't awful it was mediocre and the storyline was messed up a little bit. But then there are movies that are almost as good as the book. I haven't read many books that have been turned into movies so I can't really give an example for this side of the post. Though I hope that I will soon have one for this side of it, because of a new movie coming out of 'Divergent' which was a really good book so I am hoping for a good movie.           

Sleep

Sleeping is wonderful, as I am sure most people would say, (Unless you are a person who stays up for hours working on something then sleep is for losers lol) No but sleep is a crucial part of what makes your body work my little sister is always like "I must have eight hours of sleep." And I say "It isn't that important." But Sleep is important, and you have dreams when you sleep which is awesome (Unless you have a nightmare than it isn't very fun) and also sleep gives you energy to make it through the day! So...When you sleep sleep well =)

New Look

Hello! I am sure you have noticed the new awesome blog design. Well I would like to thank {You}Topia  blog designs for making it. Because I have not the skill or knowledge to have made it so wonderful. So thank you for that. And if anyone is in need of a new design I highly recommend them =)

Coffee

Okay so coffee. I use to really not like coffee. I am serious the taste of it made me sick even with a ton of creamer and sugar O_O. So the other day mom made coffee and I was like "Oooo Can I try some" and I did and BAM with alot of creamer and sugar I actually liked it! Yes I dilute my coffee 'cause i don't like bitter things normally. So the meaning of this post...I NOW LIKE COFFEE! (sorta) YAY

Rain

You know rain, that wonderful thing that falls from the sky, that make a steady beat on your roof that is just so calming. I love rain, it helps me think (not thunder and lighting that scares me a bit). When you're writing, reading, sleeping, doesn't matter what you are doing (Unless it involves the outdoor voods) it just has this calming effect over you (well me anyway). I mean when I have my choice of white noises and it is something like static, fan, or rain, I almost always choose rain.

Series

Books and movies, if series, are so mean and wonderful, and shows are the same. I love books and  I love to read them and when you get a good series it is wonderful, until you reach the end of the first book and they either don't have the second at the library or the second isn't out yet and you have to wait a year or so. Same if they have like three of them and they don't have the fourth and on and on you get the picture. So, I have finished a book and the second is checked out at the library I own the third and I just re read the first so I need the second! But I can't have it yet =(...I am also waiting on the fourth book of a series to come out and it's soooo close, it comes out in August, and then there is the last in a trilogy that I don't even know when it shall be coming out. And then there is Sherlcok series which we shall not even go into. So that is the reason for this rant of awesomness yet evilness about series

Doctor Who

DOCTOR WHO!!! It is one of the most awesome shows in the entirety of time and space! I absolutely love it! It follows the Doctor, a time lord who is the last of his kind. He always has a human companion and they go on wonderful, scary, awesome adventures through time and space. It can make you laugh really hard or cry really hard, but all the same is one of my most favorite shows ever!

Writing (take two)

Okay writing! This shall be my actual post about writing the last one though titled writing was more of a post about my friends and my story blog lol. SO, writing is awesome. I am a writer and enjoy every bit of it. I mean what isn't to like? You get to create your own little world and your own people that you can make any way you want. You can do so much with it there are really no limits to what you can do! And then, once you have finished one and other people can read and enjoy something that you have created, that came out of mind. That, to me, sound like one of the happiest moments in a persons life. When you can share something like that and hae other people enjoy it =) I have yet to finish one of mine but I hope to as soon as I can. So there you have it! My "real" post about writing!

Psychedelic Connection

Hello my friends! So yesterday when I made a post about how much I need my Sherlock apparently a friend of mine had the same idea! So after the post I had a chat with my friend Anna (Blogger of Dreams of a Narnian ) and she yelled at me that she looked at my blog right before she was about to make a post about Sherlock. Then she proceeded to ask m what I was doing, and we were both sitting, listening to music, and chatting with each other (Obvious one). So I said we must have a psychedelic connection (I meant to say psychedelic because that is just something I find fun to say in stead of psychological) Anyway so I thought I would inform you of my psychedelic connection with my friend!

Sherlock

Hello my colorful friends to another wonderful day. Except for me it isn't as wonderful because I re watched Sherlock and just finished Reichenback Fall and now I am in need of the third season (AGAIN, though I never stopped needing it is just more prominent now) So yes, I am now making a post about this because I needed something to post, I was bored, and this is my blog and felt I should share my need for season three...that is all thank you lol.

You Can Change the Color!

Oh my goodness, you can change the color of your text! I didn't know that. I mean, I was sitting here, "Hmmm I feel like I should post something everyday so what to make a post about?" and then I see this thing and I am like "Whoa, cool I should make my post about this." So now we are at the present. Okay, so this thing is cool, and awesome.

Books

BOOKS! Most awesome things in the world! I mean you find a good one and just can't put it down, you feel for the protagonist and are taken on a whirling, tumbling, emotional journey of pure awesomeness. And when it is over you laugh you cry, it moves you Bob (I know Veggi tales comment lol) But even if it has a terrible ending of pure emotional evil you still love it and pray there might be a sequel if it isn't already a series, OH, and then there are the one that are evil and are series but end evilly and give you a chance of another one and you spend the rest of your days like "I wonder if he/she decided to make another."   And check the interwebs frantically every couple of years. Anywho, I love them and read them a lot...once read a 762 page book in 2 days, it was a good book needless to say =).  Ah, I could go on for a while about some awesome books I have read but it would take a while and don;t want to bore you with all that!

Musica

I love music, it is just beautiful. It can be calm, loud, energetic, etc. It is just an awesome thing...Who came up with the idea of music anyway, I mean really I would like to build a time machine and go back to thank them for this awesome thing they have done. I mean it helps you through hard times, makes you feel good when you really don't, and just generally make you happy. And there are so many different types of music. Classical, Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, Country, and tons of other genres that I don't even know the name of  =). I actually play Guitar and it is fun just to play it just to hear the sound. So moral of the post, Music is awesome and most people will probably agree.

Writing!

I adore writing, I feel as if it transports me into another world, time, and place. I one day hope to get published, but I have about five novels I have started . But oh well, writing is one of my passions so it is hard to stop. =)  And just for your information I am writing a story blog of awesomeness with three of my great friends it is called The Incantevole Tales, and to credit them these three are awesome writers. I write from the point of view of my sweet bad tempered Half-Dragon Adonis, fiery spirited Ceridwen Nairi (Ceridwen is a made up race in this book), and lastly calm, fun loving Nuvole who happens to be Nairi's brother. I recommend reading it 'cause it is a fun adventurous story =)  And so I don;t feel like I am bragging just on myself (Which I am not trying to do) My friend Ashley writes from Bly, Xander, and our villains Andromeda and Felix. She is an awesome writer.  Kayla writes from the point of view of Kaymele and Nithron and she also is a very talented writer. And lastly Anna writes from the point of view of Anakis, Natia, and Prid and again she is also a very good writer...THEY ALL ARE!
(I shall not describe their characters as I fear I might mess something up lol)
So, check it out for you shall not be disappointed (At least I hope you won't O-O)

Okay, to start the title is meant to be with a ck 'cause it just adds to the awesomeness of it. =) So, YAY...this is my very first blog and I am very excited. Okay, so, I named the blog sckittles because it is a symbol of my colorful personality. I am not gay I am a Christian, just thought I would let you know 'cause of the whole Rainbow thing, I just really like rainbows, they are pretty! I am a huge fan of BBC's "Doctor Who" and "Sherlock". I think I am a pretty big nerd and I love to read and write. I am actually working on finishing one of my books so I may get published =), it is one of my dreams. OKAY, I hope I don't bore anyone, and hope you enjoy my future posts to come!
